You can use your StagesBike SB20 to complete classes in the Peloton app, manually adjusting the resistance to match the instructor's prompts. iOS users can pair the StageBike to the application to view cadence on screen, while the Android app only allows for Bluetooth heart rate to be connected.

Note: Cadence is not displayed on Android or when using Airplay through the Peloton Digital app connected to an Apple TV.

Connecting to the Peloton app

Upon opening the app, scroll via the Classes section to find a cycling class. Select a class that suits you, and press Start.

The class will begin and allow you to pair Heart Rate (Android and iOS) and Cadence (iOS Only). The following screenshots are for Android.

With an iOS device, select and start a class. Then, connect the StagesBike as Cadence Sensor via Bluetooth with the image at the bottom right of your screen. Note that the power meter will not appear as a cadence sensor on the Peloton app.

If you are wearing a heart rate monitor, select this option at this time.

The app will then display your heart rate and cadence.
